One char field names not working?

Jul 1, 2014 at 7:26 PM
I have a yes/no field, if its named "Maintained" the read only code works... if its named "M" it does not.

Works:

SPUtility.GetSPField('Maintained').MakeReadOnly();

Does not:

SPUtility.GetSPField('M').MakeReadOnly();

Why?

korbbot,
Check out the latest version of SPUtility 0.9.2 which fixes this bug: https://github.com/kitmenke/sputility/tree/master/dist
Thanks,
Kit

Thanks for the quick response... folks... KitMenke is why you use CodePlex! I'd be interested in why or how you changed this, but I'm selfish. Post if you want.

The problem had to do with checking for whether the field was required. You can always take a look at the GitHub commit history see the exact change.

Removing my previous post about "True" as that was not an issue with the change you made above. Thanks again for the quick fix.
